Privacy policy

We don’t run accounts

Local Slate has no sign-in, no ads, and no analytics of ours. We don’t sell your data. The app talks to a few public sports and map services so the slate can load. We don’t get a copy of that traffic.

What stays on your device

• The ZIP you type or the last good ZIP from Use my location
• Coordinates used to rank nearby games
• Cached schedule, weather, and odds already shown

Delete the app and that local data goes with it.

Location

Optional. If you tap Use my location, iOS asks for When In Use access so we can rank games near you and fill a ZIP. You can decline and type a ZIP instead. We don’t keep a location history, and we don’t send your pin to us.

What leaves the phone

To build the slate, the app requests:

• ESPN public scoreboard (games, scores, national networks)
• Zippopotam (turning a ZIP into coordinates)
• National Weather Service (kickoff weather at the stadium)
• Apple MapKit / Core Location (optional GPS and reverse ZIP)
• The Odds API, only if a key is configured on that build (informational lines, not betting)

Those services see the ZIP or coordinates needed for that request, under their own policies. Local Slate is not a sportsbook.

Kids

We don’t collect personal information from anyone, including children. Odds are shown for information only. 21+ · 1-800-GAMBLER.
